ReplyDeleteThere are a few breeders trying to get them recognized by AKC so they are being careful on who to breed to whom. Both parents must be registered so they can keep track of the bloodlines. As for breeding for a pomsky the pomeranian is always the dad for the first generation and almost all breedings are done by artificial insemeination. First generation pomskies can weigh about 30 pounds or if you do the math you would add the weight of the female husky to the male pomeranian and divide by two.
ReplyDeleteFirst generations are cheaper than 2nd and 3rd. Price is also determined by size, markings and eye color.
